What you see here is a spider (or radar) chart. We are comparing the OEM bike vs different Aurora Layouts that we have in our range. There are five areas of interest.
1. Ergonomics. This is your instrument layout. Are they in a better position? Easier to see? Higher is better.
2. Protection. This is protection from the elements and is based on our own tests and feedback from customers. The highr the protection, the higher the number.
3. Lights. OEM lights are fully legal. In our kits not only you upgrade the lights, but you can install full off-road LED units for max performance.
4.Weight. That's a necessary evil. We remove and we add parts on the bikes and the net effect is sometimes a heavier bike, or in the case of our Superlight kit a lighter bike.
5. Racing. Get ready to race! Higher is better.

Engineered to perform! Use the Before/After image to understand the engineering that has gone to the tower. The tower is now closer to the handlebars, bringing the center of gravity of the tower assembly as close as possible to the bike. The result? More relaxed riding, better long distance perofrmance!
It's unique! The towe is a three piece design. Not only for improved characteristics, but for ease of assembly and maintenance!
It's reversible! No modification to the frame needed at all. It is important to make sure that your warranty is sill valid, and should you choose to return the bike in its original state, you can do it on the spot!

The side panels are the finishing touch for the Aurora 901 Rally kit, elevating both its style and functionality. Developed in collaboration with Faretra Designs® and C-Racer®, these panels are available in fiberglass or full Carbon Fiber, crafted in partnership with CFCP®.
Featuring a triple-sided design, they can be swapped with minimal effort and help reduce damage in the event of a crash. With these panels, your bike is transformed into a sleek, high-performance adventure machine!
Race proven
Going from designing and presenting the kit at the Greek Expo straight to racing in one of Europe's toughest rallies was no small feat.
Although the tower had been thoroughly tested with our 790 and 890 range, we didn’t yet have the final panel molds ready, leaving us to rely on 3D-printed ABS prototype panels. We wasted no time, reinforcing the 3D-printed panels with fiberglass and producing a second set in case the rider needed it!
The results spoke for themselves. Despite multiple falls and a major crash on the final day that left our rider seriously injured, the kit performed exceptionally well. We did not even need the second set of side panels!
Materials Matter
The Hellas Rally provided the ultimate test to solidify our approach to materials and crash resilience. In a crash, the impact must be absorbed by something — it’s basic physics. If the tower doesn't absorb it, then the bike or the navigation instruments will take the hit. We firmly believe that rally riders and travelers share the same goal: to make it back home safely. The Fairing Kit
The body kit not only enhances the bike's cooling efficiency, allowing it to run at optimal temperatures even during demanding rides, but it also offers significant weight savings compared to the OEM unit. Its streamlined design improves airflow, contributing to better overall performance, while being easy to remove for maintenance or upgrades, making it highly practical for riders.
Available in both glass fiber and carbon fiber, the kit provides a choice between durability and lightweight precision, ensuring you get the best of both worlds, whether for everyday use or intense adventure riding.
CNC Navigation Tower
This tower design, already proven in our 790/890 series, increases the stiffness of the main navigation tower components by 70%.
At the core of this structure is the 'spine,' machined from a solid block of aluminum. Though seven millimeters thick, its carefully engineered pockets make the structure incredibly lightweight. The Norden 901 Rally tower also benefits from a new, more compact design, positioning it closer to the bike. This minimizes the cantilever effect, bringing the center of gravity even nearer to the bike and enhancing overall stability, while maintaining a weight similar to our 701 rally tower.
For added durability, two attenuation dampeners—one on each side—further reduce vibrations transmitted to the tower’s front structure.
Cable management is streamlined and unique. The package includes Tesa™ PET cloth wire harness tape to ensure a clean, organized installation. Special 'gill' inlets on the tower’s sides allow the OEM harness to be routed with minimal effort. The front of the tower slides forward for easy attachment, keeping all cables neatly secured in the process.
The legendary head clamp!
The most important part. If this part fails, no matter how good the rest of the structure is, it will fall catastrophically taking with it all the electrics of the bike. This is the foundation of a rally kit. Since 2016 Aurora Rally Equipment is proud to have zero head clamp failures in all the environments and conditions. Racing, Traveling, Commuting. Our data shows that there is no difference between racing and traveling as far as the damage that one can inflict to these parts. To the contrary, there is proof that amateur riders, sometimes, cause more harm to the equipment than the pro riders. The clamp is machined out a solid block of aluminium with special spacers and a chro-moly U-bolt designed and manufactured specifically for that purpose. It is warrantied for life, as all our frame clamps.

Adaptable Setup. Seamless Integration.
The GPS back plate and OEM speedo bracket of the Norden 901 rally kit are masterfully designed for both functionality and versatility. Its modular configuration allows you to easily relocate the OEM speedo from its top position to the handlebars with the addition of a handlebar bracket. This frees up valuable cockpit space, providing room for two GPS units, mobile phones, a large tablet, or any other gear your adventure demands.
The plate is mounted with antivibration dampeners, which absorb impacts and protect your equipment from harsh terrain. For those looking to upgrade to a full rally setup, we’ve got you covered—simply select the Roadbook backplate along with the bracket that moves the OEM speedo to the center of the handlebars.
This configuration ensures you still have access to essential information, while keeping your focus on navigation for optimal performance.

**We recomend to run the kit without the rear panels (like we did) as it further enhances our vision of keeping the bike volume heavy at the front and slim at the back. Plus, it allows you to remove the extra weight!

- Turn indicators in the USA
- Due to different regulations in the US, the OEM front turn indicators are bigger and will not fit in the available space on the tower. It is advisable to buy a smaller LED set.
