    What you see here is a spider (or radar) chart. We are comparing the OEM bike vs different Aurora Layouts that we have in our range. There are six areas of interest.

    1. Ergonomics. This is your instrument layout. Are they in a better position? Easier to see? Higher is better.
    2. Fuel Capacity. Straight forward. Higher means more fuel!
    3. Service. This is time it takes to access different areas of the bike such as the tower cabling and the air filter. Lower is better.
    4. Lights. OEM lights are fully legal. In our kits not only you upgrade the lights, but you can install full off-road LED units for max performance.
    5.Weight. That's a necessary evil. We remove and we add parts on the bikes and the net effect is sometimes a heavier bike, or in the case of our DesertX kit a lighter bike.
    6. Racing. This is how much race ready is the setup.

    We don't just design; we obsess over every detail.

    It's light! We managed to remove 15kg from the stock bike. A new Carbon Fiber Fuel Tank with a through air filter specifically designed and manufactured from DNA© resulted in -5kg. The front right disc brake with the number plate frame support resulted in another -5kg and the catalytic converter removal with an Acrapovic© exhaust resulted in another -5kg. It is a joy to ride indeed! Add the Bartubeless wheels and hubs, the Tractive suspension and you have a desert weapon like no other!


    It's simple. The air filter is accessible from the top of the tank and nothing needs to be removed to access it. 10 second changes are the norm!


    It's protective! The air filter can have up to 3 filtering stages to ensure that you have a clean engine! Add only the DNA© air filter for maximum air-flow, add a second DNA© filter in the stock position to double the air-filtration capacity or add a cover on your main DNA© air filter for those tough, dusty days. .


    DesertX Ram Air Intake! The air intake directs fresh air under the tank to the air filter in order to reduce the air temperature. The ram air intake can be sealed for extreme environmental conditions.


    It has options! The special air filter covers allow you to optimize the performance of the bike depending on the conditions (track, off road, commuting, fuel saving etc.) Reverse back to a setup similar to the OEM in less than 20 minutes!


    Cold is Gold! Metallic tanks can become really hot under the sun, but also due to the engine temperature. Carbon Fiber not so much!


    It's reliable! The tank was tested by Stefanos Theoharis in Hellas Rally 2023 without any protection and it passed with merits. In our final product the Carbon Tank will be protected by another layer of Carbon (removable) to minimize the damage in case of a crash.

    Race proven!

    The AFT (All Carbon Fiber) tank, manufactured by CFCP a company that is based in the island of Crete and we are closely working together to produce the best possible Carbon Fiber parts for rally bikes. This is the first time we take things seriously with CF tanks. Although they exist in the rally market, it is not something that we make from the seat of our pants. We went above and beyond to test the prototype units at Hellas Rally 2023 and see what we are up against!

    Designed to optimize airflow and engine efficiency, our innovative 3D printed intake system directs cooler, denser air directly to the air filter. The system can be sealed in case of heavy pollution (rain or heavy sand). A foam insert can be also used in those African Deserts to ensure that the fresh air arrives as clean as possible to your air filter.

    What sets us apart is our unique approach – we conduct fatigue analysis using real - world accelerometer data, ensuring durability in the most challenging desert conditions. This tower is designed using millions of acceleration data from all over the world. Races such as the Dakar, Africa Eco Race, MDC, Hellas Rally, Serres Rally and others as well as commuting, motocross etc. It's ultralight, strong and easy to replace in case of a structural damage. Unlike any other in the world, we conduct exhaustive fatigue analysis using real-world data from accelerometers, ensuring that our tower is not just aesthetically striking but also built to withstand the harshest desert terrains.     The air filter was designed in collaboration with the leading company in aftermarket air filters, DNA. It was tested heavily in Hellas Rally 2023 and it was further developed and tested using real time data. The two-stage design allows you to run the outer filter as a pre-filter ensuring that your engine gets the cleanest air possible. The 1st stage filter can be replaced within seconds and you can inspect the 2nd stage filter which can be replaced as the OEM unit. If you install the Aurora Dx Monoblock tower the tank can be removed within minutes!

    In the full rally version the LP4 from Baja designs (1 or 2 unis depending on the setup) are the strongest lights that have been installed by a rally kit manufacturer in the world (17500 forward lumens!) . They are not street legal, but they will show your way home if you decide to take the beast in the desert! There are many options from maximum weight savings to fully legal setups.

To create this masterpiece, we united a formidable team of six industry-leading companies, each contributing their expertise to craft the ultimate twin-cylinder beast. The result? A motorbike that redefines performance, a testament to precision engineering and collaborative excellence.

    Forced Direct Intake

    The custom-built Forced Direct air Intake for the Ducati DesertX is a technological marvel, featuring a meticulously designed 3D-printed intake. This innovative system efficiently channels air directly towards the air filter, ensuring a consistent supply of cool, oxygen-rich air that enhances the bike's overall performance and throttle response. What sets this intake apart is its adaptability, enabling riders to seal it off when traversing challenging terrains or participating in races amidst high-pollution environments. This versatility not only enhances the DesertX's engine's response but also allows riders to conquer diverse conditions while maintaining peak engine efficiency and longevity. Ok, it looks good too!

    Dx Monoblock Tower​

    The Ducati DesertX was fully digitized using a Peel 3d Laser Scanner. Peel 3d is a unique tool as it comes with a dedicated reverse engineering software, allowing us to design parts that fit like a glove to the bike!

    The tower was designed from the ground up, using millions of data from out accelerometer library. The tower is strong, easy to install and take off while the monoblock design reduces the weight of the tower further, while it maintains its strength and durability.
