Pål Anders Ullevålseter takes 2nd in Africa Eco Race 2019

It has been a hard fight all the way. Long days and many hours on the bike. Sand in the shoes, furrows in the face, and painful muscles.

Over 6,000 kilometers driven in fourteen days. Pål Anders has been lying on top every day. He’s been fighting hard. Struggled to get rid of Italian Botturi, but he has not succeeded. Yesterday they ran the last leg, along Lak Rose and into the podium and tribute in Dakar.

The race is over. Thousands of people, cheers and champagne. Because it was a jubilation for the second place. It is not given to the goal Pål Anders experienced last year, but this year everything has gone on track. No problems either by bike or body, just a hurt leg. And only one obstacle in the way – an Italian competitor.
